Stage 1 Hidden ECU Remap

Audi 3L TFSI engine is one of those rare experiments gone right for Audi. VAG Concern knows the ropes of Turbo set ups and fast NA V8s, so release of Supercharger was slightly unusual. The ‘T’ in ‘TFSI’, “no longer stands for turbo, but rather the concept of supercharging in general.” Figure that one out. 

Since the release August 2008, at the Moscow International Motor Show its been installed in almost every Audi model. Grunty, nimble, plenty of potential. A6, A7 SQ5, Q7, S4 and S5 all have them. While gains vary between models and ECU types, let look at one of the more common cars on New Zealand roads. Early version S4.

Stock: 329 HP and and 440 Nm of torque. Enough? No, definitely not. Somebody stole another 80 HP 80 NM torque from you. Culprits are: Tax regulations for power output, Different fuel programmings and Audi still needs to sell RS4 as the fastest A4. 
Remap on stock parts and internals gains you solid 80-98hp and 80-97nm of toque. Depends on Fuel and condition of the engine.

Stage 2, or how to scare RS4s.

There is more. Quite a bit more. At this point minor hidden mods come into play. Smaller supercharger pulley, suitable supercharger belt, Panel filter, Bespoke ECU remap from EuroSurgeon, 

Right at this point you have RS4 power and with some quality fuel you will be solid 0.4 seconds quicker at quarter mile run. 

At this point we would also recommend remapping the transmission to help with shift times and patterns. 

One bonus mod you could do is a stunning APR Carbonio Intake. Chill inducing supercharger whine. We are authorized APR Dealer and usually have these in stock.

Stage 2+ "You owe me a 10 sec car".

When you need a family sedan/wagon to keep up with supercars, there is a Stage 2+. 

To keep it short there is a full APR package available.

  • APR Ultracharger
  • APR Carbonio Intake
  • APR ECU and TCU Remap
  • Catless downpipes or Longtube headers
  • APR Supercharger Cooling system
  • Colder Spark plugs

The system produces an astonishing 478-542 HP with 426-472 FT-LBS of torque. Gains as high as 133-196 HP and 97-143 FT-LBS of torque are available throughout the power band.

      Hey depends on what component you would likke to use. But as a rule of thumb Stage 1 is around 1200+GST and Stage 2 around 2.5+GST. Could be less depending on where you want to get with it.

      Hey Dave there are couple different options depending on what parts/mods we do but full dyno tuning on S4 with Stage 2 Starts from 2200+GST

      Hey Paul. We surely can. If its a V8 would also suggest checking the power output on dyno and assessing the state of carbon build up on the intake valves. Can all be done at the same time. Ryan
